Community guidelines

Sella works because people trust each other. These rules keep buying and selling safe for everyone.

The short version: be honest, be respectful, and only sell things that are legal and actually yours. Breaking these rules can get listings removed or your account suspended.

Keep it legal

·No illicit, stolen, or counterfeit items. If you can't legally own or sell it in the Maldives, it can't go on Sella.

·No weapons, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, medicines, or age-restricted goods.

·No live animals, protected wildlife, or items made from endangered species.

Keep it clean

·No foul, abusive, or discriminatory language in listing titles, descriptions, or photos.

·No adult content or sexually explicit imagery anywhere on the platform.

·Keep photos relevant. Show the actual item, not memes, watermark spam, or unrelated images.

Be honest

·Describe items accurately: real condition, real photos of the actual item, no misleading claims.

·Set a genuine price. No bait-and-switch, fake discounts, or hidden fees revealed only in chat.

·Only list items you actually own and have on hand, ready to sell.

Respect other people

·No harassment, threats, or hate speech toward buyers, sellers, or Sella staff.

·Don't spam. No duplicate listings, keyword stuffing, or flooding categories.

·Respect privacy: never share someone else's phone number, address, or photos without consent.

Trade safely

·Meet in public places for handovers and inspect items before paying.

·No advance-payment requests for items that haven't been shown or handed over.

·Report suspicious listings or behavior. It keeps the whole community safe.

What happens if rules are broken

First strikeThe listing is removed and you get a warning explaining why.

RepeatedYour account may be suspended while we review your activity.

SeriousIllegal items, scams, or threats lead to a permanent ban with no warnings.

Suspended by mistake? You can always contact us and we'll review it.
